In case you missed it, Rick Ross was arrested last week in Fayette County, outside of Atlanta and charged with kidnapping, as well as aggravated assault and aggravated battery charges.

Rapper Rick Ross is accused of forcing a man into a guesthouse at his suburban-Atlanta mansion and beating him in the head with a handgun, chipping his teeth and mangling his jaw so badly that he’s unable to chew food, authorities say in court records.

Here we were thinking Ross wasn’t about that thug life anymore. Fool me once…

After initially ruling against granting Ross the option to post bail, this week Ross and his attorney appeared in court to argue his case for bail. With assurances there would be no witness intimidation, complete cooperation with the police, and access to his 109-room mansion, bail was granted at $2 million.

Ross was immediately released Wednesday, after posting the bond. According to records, he borrowed $1 million against his Georgia home, $500,000 from a bondsman, and the remaining $500,000 came from his own pocket.

At this time, there’s no specific date for his next appearance before the judge. However, Ross is confined to his home by a GPS ankle monitor.
