Season 20 of Dancing with the Stars is officially underway. Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews returned to host the event; the judges’ table comprised of Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli, and Julianne Hough. All of the participants marveled at the new 14-karat-gold-plated Mirror Ball trophy.

Patti LaBelle’s performance was the highlight of the highly anticipated Monday’s season premiere of Dancing with the Stars.” She was the 5th dancer to hit the stage and her graceful foxtrot routine with partner, Artem Chigvinstev, wowed the judges. In her video package, Patti mentioned, I’m here to show America that Miss Patti can dance.” Their efforts were enough to earn them a total score of 25 out of 40.

While Patti excelled on the stage, Michael Sam had footwork issues that were immediately noticed by the judges. Lens Goodman even mentioned that Sam’s feet were atrocious.” His cha-cha routine with Peta Murgatroyd did manage to turn up the temperature in the studio though; Tombioni even called the dance hot. Their routine fetched them 26 points out of 40.

Redfoo, from the popular group, LMFAO, also gave a lively performance with partner, Emma Slater. They danced to the tune of Juicy Wiggle.” Before awarding the duo a total score of 22 out of 40, Goodman mentioned to Redfoo, You dance like your hair: a little wild and unkempt.

Unfortunately, Redfoo, and model, Charlotte McKinney, were at the bottom of the score chart at the end of the night.

So, who will be eliminated first? You will have to tune into ABC for the next episode airing 8 p.m. on March 23.
