Kelly Rowland has finally introduced her newborn to the world. Essence Magazine had the distinct honor of capturing baby boy, Titan Jewell’s, first official shots around four months after his birth. Along with Titan Jewell, Kelly Rowland and husband, Tim Weatherspoon, were also involved in the cover shoot. Tim and Kelly tied nuptials back in May, 2014.

In the cover, Titan can be seen looking at his gleeful father with Kelly flashing a million dollar smile to the camera. Kelly has been vocal about her love for young Jewell, “I actually wish I would have had him sooner. It’s just so much joy. I just feel blessed… I try to wake up a little bit earlier than him because I like watching his face in the morning because he wakes up smiling. It just does something for my spirit.” 

The timely birth of Titan helped Kelly cope up with the harrowing loss of her mother. Her mother bid adieu to life less than a month after the birth of her first child; she suffered from a cardiac arrest aged six-and-sixty.

Of course, Beyonce was quick to offer her best wishes immediately after the birth of Titan on November 4th. She took to Instagram and posted a hand-holding photo with the following captions. “There’s no better feeling than holding my beautiful nephew. I thank God for the honor of witnessing my sister’s journey into motherhood. I’ve always dreamt of our little ones growing up together. I’m so thankful for our bond. Baby Ty, I love you so much. Congrats to my Spoons.”
