It looked like Auburn had this game when Florida State scored a late touchdown to win its first B.C.S. championship since 1999. With only 13 seconds left in the game, Kelvin Benjamin caught the winning touchdown pass from quarterback, Jameis Winston. This B.C.S. championship game kept everyone on the edge of their seats until the last second ticked off the clock.

With only five minutes to go, the lead changed three times. The Florida State Seminoles hadn’t led the game since the first quarter when Levonte Whitfield returned a kickoff for 100 yards with less than five minutes to play in the fourth quarter.

The momentum shift didn’t last long. Auburn quickly put seven more points on the scoreboard with a touchdown. The game seemed to be in hand with only 79 seconds left on the clock, but the game wasn’t close to being over for Florida State. It was Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston who led the Seminoles to victory with a stunning game-winning touchdown pass.

Nobody celebrated until Auburn ran their last play in the final 3 seconds hoping for one more miracle, but the Tigers fell short this time.

No matter which team you wanted to win, this was a classic B.C.S. championship game where two great teams fought back and forth to the end.
