Four Seasons of Scandal

Season Four of Scandal keeps powering through, and the fate of Olivia Pope & Co is a constant battle we just can’t get enough of! This season sees the return of eight of the original ten actors from Season One, and a stronger focus on these core characters has led to some interesting revelations and growth that is both entertaining and organic.

Lead Actress Kerry Washington continues to stun as the no-holds-barred crisis management guru Olivia Pope, and the conflict she faces week after week as one of D.C.’s major players unravels with gripping story telling thanks to Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes. Season Four also brings on a few newcomers to the series, with award-winners Portia de Rossi (Arrested Development) and Lena Dunham (Girls) as two of the bigger names added to the cast.

We don’t want to ruin anything for you in case you’re not totally caught up yet (ProTip: Seasons 1-3 can be watched on Netflix!), but we can say that this season’s events seem to have taken an even darker tone. There’s murder, kidnapping, sex-for-power, and some domestic abuse — and that’s just a sliver of Scandal’s er, scandalous storyline!
