NFL Power Rankings 2015

This off-season has been a busy one. Big names such as Darrelle Revis signed with the Jets, and DeMarco Murray left the Cowboys for division rival Philadelphia Eagles. Jimmy Graham has been traded, and many more big names are moving to new teams. It’s fun to take a look at all 32 teams and consider the transactions that are being made, and try to predict how they will stack up in the 2015 season within the NFL Power Rankings.

After all of the trades, free-agent signings, retirements and extensions so far this exciting off-season, we are covering the top 32 teams and how they are measuring up.

The top ten teams in this month’s NFL Power Rankings are:

1 Seattle SeahawksSEAHAWKS

6 Dallas CowboysDALLAS COWBOYS

2 New England Patriots NEW ENGLAND

7 Pittsburg SteelersPITTSBURGH STEELERS

3 Green Bay PackersGREENBAY

8 Denver BroncosDENVER BRONCOS

4 Indianapolis ColtsIND COLTS

9 Kansas City Chiefs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

5 Arizona CardinalsARIZONA CARDINALS

10 Detroit LionsDETROIT LIONS

The Seahawks are an easy pick. They have been a dominant team the last two seasons and they made a lot of headlines by re-signing power running back Marshawn Lynch and acquiring one of the best Tight Ends to ever play the position, Jimmy Graham, from the New Orleans Saints.

The Super Bowl winning Patriots still hang at the top at Number 2, but lost some significant weapons in Revis, Vince Wilfork and Shane Vereen. It will be interesting to see what moves they make this off-season.

The Packers have been quiet this off-season, but remain strong while the Colts climb to the Number 4 spot after acquiring a few solid, key players to bolster an already impressive squad led by Andrew Luck who improves year after year.

The Cardinals are a team to watch. They were plagued with injuries last season. They lost some key players this off-season, but if they can stay healthy they will stay near the top of the NFL Power Rankings throughout the year.

There is not a lot of excitement in Denver so far. Peyton Manning is back, but expect another “good-enough” season from the Broncos unless they address some key issues.

It’s always enjoyable to follow the teams throughout the off-season and try to predict how their season will go and where they rank on the NFL Power Rankings. Mostly because when kickoff comes later this year, you never know who will really be holding that trophy at the end of the season.

Expect a lot more exciting transactions to come and a very interesting NFL Draft that is sure to impact the rankings before the season begins.
