The NFL is back!
Summer is coming to an end, and while most of America will be packing in their barbecues (and their white pants), football fans are gearing up for the start of the 2014-15 season. The NFL is giving fans a banging pre-game party featuring some musical heavy hitters for the season-opening game on Thursday, Sept. 4th.
Right before the defending Super Bowl Champs, the Seattle Seahawks, take on the Green Bay Packers for the first match-up of the year, Grammy-winners Pharrell Williams and Soundgarden will be rocking a free concert just outside of Century Field in Seattle. And if that wasn’t enough to satisfy the musical needs of football fans, Ariana Grande will be singing the National Anthem right before kickoff.
You don’t have to be in Seattle to catch the music (or the game)! NBC will be airing the concert, which starts at 7:30 ET, as a live pre-game segment for Football Night in America. Those who have Verizon’s NFL Mobile App, or subscribe to the NFL Network, will also be able to watch the performance.
