Worth Seeing
The reason I say the Non-Stop movie never takes off is because it has potential but never delivers. The real disappointing part is the fact that Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore can’t even make this movie interesting. Usually, I like Liam Neeson who plays Bill Marks, a toughened federal air marshal on a non-stop flight to London and Julianne Moore who plays Jen Summer, an unusual yet attractive woman passenger.
The plot begins with jittery Bill Marks receiving text messages that say someone on the plane will be killed every 20 minutes until $150 million is transferred to a bank account, but all signs begin to point to Marks as the villain. While there is some suspense and action as the plot thickens, the overall story just falls flat. The rather unbelievable ending adds to the disappointment in Non-Stop.
An air marshal springs into action during a transatlantic flight after receiving a series of text messages that put his fellow passengers at risk unless the airline transfers $150 million into an off-shore account.
Should Liam Neeson have just stuck to just making “Taken” films. Did Julianne Moore add any flare to this film or was her role simply insignificant?
