Joan Rivers donned the hat of a comedian in the entertainment industry and was famous for her self-deprecating and outlandish scathing comments on the show, Fashion Police. She bid adieu to life on September 4th and was one-and-eighty when she passed.
Her daughter, Melissa, released a statement, “She passed peacefully at 1:17p.m surrounded by family and close friends. My mother’s greatest joy in life was to make people laugh. Although, that is difficult to do right now, I know her final wish would be that we return to laughing soon.”
Joan Rivers’ immediate members had their hearts in their mouths ever since her admission to New York’s Mt. Sinai hospital. On 28 August, Joan Rivers faced plenty of respiratory complications during her procedure on vocal cords. In order to curb the suffering and assess her condition, she was instantly placed in a medically induced coma.
The cause of her death was disclosed by the Chief Medical Examiner of New York City Office, who conducted an investigation of her death. The reports came to a conclusion that she died of a therapeutic complication which arose out of the throat surgery. Basically, her brain failed to respond after there was a lack of oxygen flow to her brain.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Melissa, and grandson, Cooper.
