15 years after appearing in his first Subway commercial, Jared Fogle, now finds himself on the outs with the company after his home was raided by federal agents Tuesday morning for suspicion of child pornography.
The investigation began in May after the executive of Fogle’s foundation, Russell C. Taylor, was arrested and charged with seven counts of production of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. It has been reported that Taylor was secretly filming and taking pictures of minor children.
At that time, Jared Fogle and the Fogle Foundation, immediately relieved Taylor of his duties.
Now, two months later, Fogle’s computers and other electronics from his home have also been seized as part of an additional investigation. While Fogle claims complete innocence, Subway has decided to part ways stating,
Subway and Jared Fogle have mutually agreed to suspend their relationship due to the current investigation,” a Subway spokesman said in a statement. “Jared continues to cooperate with authorities, and he expects no actions to be forthcoming. Both Jared and Subway agree that this was the appropriate step to take.
Little has been said by authorities in this matter but it’s hard to believe they would raid his home without being more than just suspicious.
Someone knows something!
