Actor/Comedian, multi-millionaire, Bill Cosby has been weathering the storm lately. A barrage of rape accusations has landed on his doorstep, creating a huge stain on his otherwise illustrious career. Janice Dickinson is the latest woman to accuse Bill Cosby of rape.
The former supermodel, who is 59 years old currently, claims Cosby sexually assaulted her in 1992 by drugging her. Janice was given the strength to voice her suffering after another woman had claimed Cosby raped her 32 years ago. Dickinson stated to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday, “I’m doing this because it’s the right thing to do, and this is a true story.” When asked the reason for holding it in for so long, she exclaimed, “I was afraid of the consequences. And I believe all the other women.”
According to Dickinson, the disconcerting incident occurred during the time she was approached for a role on The Cosby Show. She vividly remembers being called by Cosby to Lake Tahoe. The meeting took a worrying turn after she was offered a glass of wine and a pill. After that, she apparently lost her senses and only regained them the next morning. Dickinson took to Entertainment Tonight to recall the unfortunate event, “ The next morning I woke up, and I wasn’t wearing my pajamas. I remember before I passed out thinking that I had been sexually assaulted? Before I woke up in the morning, the last thing I remember was him dropping his robe and getting on top of me. I remember a lot of pain. I remember waking up with my pajamas off, and there was semen in between my legs.”
Martin Singer, Cosby’s attorney, has dismissed Janice’s story, calling it a complete lie.
It’s raining distress in Cosby’s life at the moment. He has been accused of sexual misconduct by at least 19 women over the last three decades. What are your thoughts on these accusations?
