Very often, we tune into reality shows like The Real Housewives of Atlanta to compensate for the lack of drama in our lives. Already under production, the show promises to re-ignite steamy encounters between Kenya and Porsha. The two stars were seen having a heated exchange on the last episode of season 6. Despite the ladies’ differences, hardly a shocker, E! News has reported that all previous cast members have joined hands to participate in the upcoming season. Perhaps a rise in pay, unparalleled fame, and the perks it brings along with it, did the trick.
The upcoming season will also feature one of the original Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members; Nene Leakes has been roped in to add further spice to the show. In regards to her association with the show, Nene was earlier quoted saying, “For me, it’s like a blessing and a curse. It has definitely opened up so many doors and opportunities for me. I have been able to do some of everything just from being on this platform. But at the same time, it can be very negative and very draining of all things.”
All those rumors of Nene leaving the show have finally been put to rest. The reality star is ostensibly finalizing her contract along with the rest of the cast.
The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta certainly has all the ingredients to live up to its billing. The premiere is likely to be broadcast in November.
